Since 1958, Roger Browning, a master craftsman, has watched his craft evolve into the 21st century. Even though he was instrumental in perfecting many of the techniques being used today by taxidermists, Roger elected to leave the recognition, blue ribbons, and shows to the younger generation. His satisfaction comes from satisfied customers.

With a .410 single-shot shotgun in hand at age 9, Roger started a trek in the outdoors that found him in most of the states, northern provinces, and other continents as years went by. By the age of 15, his desire for the outdoors and nature led him to raise game birds. The preservation of game was the natural result of his love of animals. The kitchen table became the place for skinning and mounting. After receiving a BA in religion, the love of nature drew the young man back into the mounting field as a career in 1967.

Even though Roger has been involved in pioneering many techniques being used today in the field of taxidermy, his first love has always been birds or fowl. As a world hunter and an ardent game bird breeder, Roger has been afforded the opportunity to experience birds firsthand in their natural habitats.
